# Augie Can Now Receive Documents via Text Message 📄📱

Drivers can now text Augie back with **photos, PDFs, or other documents**—and Augie will act on them automatically. This unlocks a smoother experience for Track & Trace and Proof of Delivery (POD) workflows, especially when drivers reply with key documents instead of just text.

##### Why This Matters

When texting drivers for updates, we often get more than just a location—we get confirmation of delivery, photos of signed paperwork, or other relevant docs. Until now, those messages couldn’t trigger any workflow logic.

With this update, Augie can now **ingest document attachments sent via SMS**, classify them, and immediately route them into the right workflow—like completing a POD collection or updating a shipment status.

##### How It Works

If a driver responds to a tracking text with “I delivered—here’s the POD,” Augie will:

- Parse the message  
- Trigger the appropriate **POD collection** workflow  
- Send the document to the brokerage contact  
- Complete the **Track & Trace** workflow (because delivery has been confirmed)

All automatically, no human follow-up required.

##### What’s Next

We’ll continue rolling this out across relevant SOPs and explore expanding support for other workflows where document collection via text makes sense. The goal: fewer calls, less friction, more automation.
